Tag your it!
1. I have been out of high school for 10 years now, and I still dream about playing soccer with my soccer team from high school almost every night. I watched my little sister's soccer video of her high school team and cried the whole way through. And the other night, I was driving past a high school with my children and saw the girls soccer team playing. So, I didn't even think twice-we pulled in and watched part of the game. I think my kids were kind of confused, but they were happy playing on the bleachers while I cried as everyone cheered.
2. My bachelors degree was Fitness and Wellness Management, so I have been thinking about calories and exercise for many years now, and I just can't get myself to eat fried food. I should know that it's okay once in a while to eat it, but I have this block in my head that doesn't allow me to eat fried food (but of course, pizza, ice cream, and chocolate are okay). I also have to exercise 5 days/week for at least 30 minutes or I think I'm going to gain weight. I know, it's so irrational, and my husband tries to convince me not to be so crazy, but I can't help it!!! I've been exercising like that since I was a little kid and I can't stop now (except when I'm pregnant of course, which is such a nice break!)
3. I always have to be reading a book. I take my book everywhere with me, just in case I have time to read it. My husband hates it when I pull out my book in the car, because he wants to talk to me, but he won't start the conversation, I have to! Whatever.
4. I guess I should have a Christmas one since it's almost Christmas. When I was little, I would count all of my presents and all of Debbie's presents (my sister 2 years younger than me) and I would make sure everything was even or I had more (and better) presents than her. If not, than I would cry and throw a fit. Spencer says I'm still like that, but I'm totally mature now!
5. I'm kind of a messy eater. When I was little, everyone knew where I sat because I had a ring of food around where my plate was. And I thought I would grow out of it, but I still make a big mess when eating, cooking, etc. Spencer hates it when I get crumbs in the bed. I'm not allowed to eat there anymore. And it's funny, because I can see that Carli is like me in this way! I'm so proud.
6. I broke my arm in 7th grade by running backwards up a hill in track practice. Well, I had to put my deoderant on with just my right hand, and it's still a habit to do that. So, I put it on the left side with my right hand, and than I reach down like a monkey on my right side with my right hand as well. It looks pretty silly. Oh well, habits die hard
7. Okay, I know I was only supposed to do 6, but I'm so weird, that I have one more. I always mess up my words or sayings. Like the words perception and reception, I still forget which word means what. Oh well, my family gets to laugh at me a lot because of all the weird things I say.
OKAY: I am supposed to tag 6 people, so I tag Donna, Bridget, Kami, Missy, Lark, and Janae. Have fun!

Thanksgiving
We went to Utah for Thanksgiving. My parents live in Eagle Mountain, which is west of Lehi. They live out in the country and have a lot of land. Their next door neighbors have horses and let all the grandkids ride them. It was really fun. We really enjoyed the cold weather! It's still so warm in Phoenix. My kids loved wearing coats and hats and gloves. I wish there was snow too! My whole family was there except for Kristin (on a mission in Houston) and Karen and Mark. The house was so full and loud and fun! I can't believe all that my mom had to prepare to host everyone. I was exhausted just watching her. But it was wonderful to be there. I love going home. We played games, watched movies on their huge projector screen, and just chubbed out.

Christmas Questionaire
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!
1. Wrapping paper or gift bags? Wrapping Paper
2. Real tree or Artificial? We have a fake, but I like real because of the smell
3. When do you put up the tree? Right after Thanksgiving
4. When do you take the tree down? After the New Year
5. Do you like eggnog? I don't normally, but I've found that I crave it when I'm pregnant
6. Favorite gift received as a child? I don't remember. I just remember that I wanted a four-wheeler and never got one. I could never understand why Santa never gave me one.
7. Do you have a nativity scene? Absolutely! I bought it in Jerusalem, and it's made out of Olive wood
8. Hardest person to buy for? Our parents. They seem to not need anything, or they don't have easy hobbies to buy for.
9. Easiest person to buy for? myself!
10. Worst Christmas gift ever received? I always know pretty much what I'm getting, so I control it enough to not get any bad presents.
11. Mail or email Christmas card? I email most of them and send a few through the mail. It's so much cheaper and easier to email.
12. Favorite Christmas Movie? While you were Sleeping
13. When do you start shopping for Christmas? After Thanksgiving
14. Have you ever recycled a Christmas present? I just return things I don't want
15. Favorite thing to eat at Christmas? English Toffee and Fudge and our traditional Christmas Breakfast, and of course hot chocolate
17. Favorite Christmas song? All I want for Christmas is you: by Mariah Carey
18. Travel at Christmas or stay home? This is our first year for staying home!
19. Can you name Santa's reindeer? Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donder, Blitzen, and – of course – Rudolph!
20. Do you have an Angel on top or a star? yes
21. Open the presents Christmas Eve or morning? One gift on Christmas Eve and the rest in the morning
22. Most annoying thing about this time of year? I get stressed out about all I should and could do to make the season more memorable, but I just don't get to it all and it's frustrating.
