New House

So, we are looking for a house-well, we've been looking for a VERY long time. I think about 6 months now. We found a house in July that was a short sale, so we offered on it, and our offer was accepted by the owner, but because the value of the house is now lower than the loan that they owe, it has to be accepted by the bank as well. Sooooo, we've been waiting for 3 1/2 months for the bank to say yes or no.
In the meantime, we have found a handful of other houses that we have put offers on, but none of them worked out. But a few weeks ago, we found a house that we absolutely love! It's in our neighborhood, it's big with a pool, a great layout, but it's in another other ward, and it's a foreclosure. So, we put an offer on it, and it was accepted. We were excited. Than, we had it inspected and found out their are major problems with the roof, plumbing, and electric wiring. So, we were bummed. Than, we found out our lender will not lend us the loan money unless the bank fixes these problems before we move in. So, we are happy. Now, we are putting together a list of everything we want the bank to fix before we move in. If they agree, than we will buy the house. If not, we are walking, and we will continue to "patiently" wait for the other house or look for more homes to offer on.
In the meantime, I'm trying to not go crazy in my townhome with 3 kids. Spencer keeps trying to think positively and remind me of all the money we are saving by not buying a home yet. Whatever, I don't care about money anymore, just get me out of this place!

Because it's a foreclosure, it needs a lot of TLC, but it has a lot of potential, and Spencer's my fix it up chappy. Here are a few pictures of it. Spencer took these pictures one night when he went and broke in to the house to see it.

Starting the Rice Cereal

Here is Danielle eating her first bowl of rice cereal. It was fun to see her eat it, but it was more fun to watch Cale and Carli enjoy feeding her.

Sleep and Slide

I went into the kids' room last night to kiss them goodnight and found Cale sleeping like this. That couldn't be comfortable!

Dancing Queen

One day, Cale just started twirling Carli around and dipping her. I asked where he learned how to do that, and he said it was from "Step Up". Have I ever mentioned that I love having a boy and a girl so close in age? It is so adorable sometimes.
